Introducing the VLA Quadscan!
The Quadscan is a Bio-impedance analysis (BIA)device: The science behind this device has been used to monitor patients in hospital and research settings since the 1980s. It is a registered Medical Device approved by the therapeutic goods administration of Australia (the TGA), giving you confidence in its accuracy.
What can the Quadscan do? Essentially it helps monitor your cellular health and fluid distribution, giving insight into how your cells are functioning from the inside.
It also accurately measures how much muscle and fat you have, as well as how much water you are carrying and the weight of your skeleton. Similar to a DEXA (or DXA) scan. In fact, it has been shown to be within 1% accuracy of the far more invasive and expensive DEXA scan. All of these parameters are recorded in an easy-to-read report that we will explain to you.
The test is completed in a matter of minutes and is painless. Leads are connected to your hands and feet and low voltage electrical currents are passed through your body. You feel nothing. This provides me with your body composition measurements, giving insight into important aspects of your health.
Another beneficial aspect to the Quadscan and VLA program is the ability to monitor your progress. Based on these reports, I will be able to assess the effectiveness of your program and if modifications may be needed.
As a special introduction I will be doing scans for $40 (20 minutes).
